Questions

Do I need a TikTok account?

For single posts, no. For whole profiles you need to be logged in to TikTok in the browser, because the three free profiles are counted per TikTok account. Your password and cookies never leave the browser.

Where do the files go?

Into your browser's Downloads folder, in a folder named after the profile, with videos and photo posts in their own folders if you ask.

Is it safe for my account?

The extension asks TikTok for the profile's posts the way the page itself does, at the site's own pace, and downloads the files from TikTok's own servers. If TikTok asks you to verify you are human, solve it on the page and press Run again.

What quality are the downloads?

Videos in the sharpest copy TikTok has, without the watermark; the 1080p copy is often H.265, which some old players cannot open, so HD video can be switched off. Pictures at full size.

I bought a key. How do I use it?

Open any TikTok profile, press "Have a licence key?" in the panel, paste the key and press Activate. Lost it? Your Gumroad receipt has it, and support can resend it.

What data does it collect?

See the privacy policy: your TikTok account id and username and the profiles you download, to count the free profiles and run licences. No usage statistics.
