Privacy Policy

TT Mass Media Downloader ("the extension") is published by NovaByteWorks, an independent developer based in India ("we"). In short: your TikTok login never leaves your browser, nothing you download leaves your computer, and we keep only what we need to run the free tier and your licence.

Never sent to us

• Your TikTok password, cookies or session. The extension uses the login already in your browser, the same way the TikTok website does.
• The videos and pictures you download. They go straight from TikTok's servers to your Downloads folder.
• Your browsing history, or anything about profiles or posts you only look at.
• Your options and the list of what you have already downloaded. These stay in your browser, and removing the extension removes them.
• Usage or error statistics. The extension does not report how it is used.

What we keep

• Your TikTok account id and username, and the usernames of profiles you download, to count your free profiles and to link your licence to your account. Single posts are not counted and not reported.
• Your licence key and purchase: the plan, the amount, the date and your email address, to deliver and support what you paid for.
• Feedback you send, with the email address you give (and your IP address, to stop spam).

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who handles it for us

Our licence service runs on Cloudflare, which stores this data for us. Payments are processed by Gumroad under its own privacy policy. We never see your card or PayPal details.

Your rights

Email [email protected] at any time to see or delete what we hold about your TikTok account. We keep your account and licence records until you ask; deleting them resets the free tier and removes the licence link.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We will post changes to this page and update the date above.
