Download all posts from an Instagram profile at once
One click saves every post of a profile, with every slide of every carousel, into a folder named after the profile. No copying links one by one, no website that asks you to paste a URL for each post.
Open the profile, press Download all media. That's the whole procedure.
Carousels come down whole: post_01.jpg, post_02.jpg, in order.
Run it again next month and it skips what you already have.
The steps
Install the extension
Add IG Mass Media Downloader to Chrome, Brave or Edge. No account, no card.
Open the profile
Log in to Instagram as usual and open the profile. A small panel appears at the bottom right of the page.
Press Download all media
Tick or untick Posts, Stories and Highlights first if you want only some of them. HD video is on by default.
Open the folder
Everything is in Downloads\<profile>\posts. The panel shows the count and the size as it goes, and an Open folder button when it's done.
What you get
- Photos at the largest size Instagram serves, not the thumbnail the grid shows.
- Videos and reels from the highest-quality streams, with sound. Switch HD off if you want smaller files.
- Carousels as numbered files, so a ten-slide post stays a ten-slide post.
- The profile picture in full size, with the Picture button.
- A record of what you have, so the next run only fetches new posts.
Good to know
- Large profiles take a while: a few thousand posts is an hour or more. You can switch tabs or minimise the browser; it keeps going.
- Instagram sometimes slows down accounts that fetch a lot quickly. The extension backs off when that happens and continues; the limit usually clears within hours.
- Only download what you're allowed to keep. Someone else's work is for your own study; your own account is yours.

Is it safe for my account?
The extension makes the same requests the Instagram website makes when you scroll, at the pace of a fast scroll, and backs off when Instagram asks it to. Automated access is against Instagram's terms, so use it with your own account and keep the volume reasonable.
Which profiles can I save?
Only profiles your Instagram account can already see, the same as on the website. Private profiles you don't follow stay private.
What quality are the files?
Photos at the largest size Instagram serves. Videos from the highest-quality streams, with picture and sound merged, not re-encoded.
Does it need my password?
No. It uses the login already in your browser. Nothing you download, and none of your cookies, leave your computer. See the privacy policy.
